I have three websites right now that I designed and continue to update and maintain as I think needed or requested.

I am not a professional. I wrote the code for these websites using html and css only. I didn't use pre-made templates because they most likely need to be tweaked quite a bit anyways and by the time you are done you could have more easily done it yourself. I made most of the gifs in photoshop. Websites are time-consuming for the amateur like me, but they come out looking homemade and not so processed packaging. I think I am a very organized person, and you can tell my websites are organized, spell-checked, and not sloppy. I cannot do javascript at this time, although possibly for photo galleries. Kay's Attic uses a javascript photo gallery.

The businesses pay their own hosting fees ($5/month using godaddy) and domain fees ($10/year using godaddy). I charge $200 per website which consists of 5 newly created gifs (like the Kay's Attic logo, and two side ads or like the Irishman's Shanty logo and footer), 100 pictures, and 15 subpages from your home page. Pictures are very time-consuming to edit and resize and position in the site. Subpages are time consuming as well to write, organize, and design. Gifs are somewhat difficult to eye and space out multiple clip arts and colors and blend into a logo. If you need small changes in the future, there would be no charge. If your site would need constant updating in the future, I charge $15 an hour.

You would have to take your own pictures and burn them to a CD for me. I prefer that you do this. If you don't know how or don't own a digital camera, now is the time to learn or call upon such friends or technologically-savvy youngsters you employ or know. I cannot charge such a small fee and also be driving to your business and take pictures for you. I can recommend affordable digital cameras. Mine is a Canon S3 which is a digital camera and video camera and is a a good affordable camera. There are others which are worse or better. Nikons have the best reputation.

You can send me any literature such as business prices or business directions that you would like scanned and hyperlinked in the website.
